So summer was a bust. I didn't do half the things I planned, but hey, I worked about 200 hours alone at a kitty shelter. There's something to be said about that. I love those kitties, but now I know why the Cat Lady is crazy. There's something to be said about human contact--it's nice. On a similar note--10 more hours and I can get my $1000 scholarship! w00t! (300 volunteer hours within 1 year=$1000. not a bad deal, but that is a lot of work if you aren't free much)

On a different note, I want to clear something up. My Avi. It's an eye. A really deformed, trippy-colored eye from a picture I took of my sister. It's not really supposed to look like much now I guess, but I can still see the eye.

Before that it was my sister playing a violin. NOBODY go that one... I like the non-sense eye, mainly because with this I can understand confusion. I didn't edit the last one. O.o

What's up now that I'm back in the big version of High School with less classes? Well. My room is nice, but half-empty so it's a bit odd. My roomie is my friend from last year and I've finally managed to convert her to Avatar. (2 for 2 on converting roommates! w00t!)

I'm taking design 1 and I'm expected to do art things like draw... with my hand--something I've never done outside of a few bad sketches that can be found here in my scraps. Oddly enough--it's REALLY HARD and it has only been 2 classes now. Then I have two ACADEMICALLY difficult classes for my Broadcasting major, English 201 (hard-ish? it has papers...), and FIBER DISIGN!!! I loved it in high school. I just wish my college teacher was... less of an art freak? I'm excited but I really like learning traditional styles. But modern experimentation can be fun.

Hm. What else? Uh... Lions beat the Colts. Imagine that? Thank goodness pre-season doesn't matter or I would be concerned. It's more like training than a game. So ya. It never happened. haha! Go Colts!
